Dear Motorcyclist,
My name is Lauren. I'm 16 years old, I love to sing, I'm learning how to drive a car, and I'm a brain tumor survivor. I was diagnosed when I was 8 years old.
I give a lot of credit for my survival to the motorcycle community. Across the country motorcycle rallies are held to raise money for brain tumor research.
I know that motorcyclists are caring and responsible people who take time from their personal and busy lives to help and participate in many causes. I'm asking you to get on your bike and be part of a very special first time event called the Dakota Kids Cancer Ride.
Families who have lost and won battles with brain tumors will be special guests and have an opportunity to ride as passengers.
The money raised will help find the cause and cure for pediatric brain tumors. The motorcycling community provides hope to many young children and their families when many times hope is all they have.
After the ride there will be a "Celebration of Life." It is during this celebration when one realizes how very important all of you are to the future of kids diagnosed with a brain tumor. Your participation i this event gives me and many others dealing with brain tumors the hope to imagine a cure.

Registration opens at 9:00am and closes 11:15
The ride through scenic countryside starts at 11:30, rain or shine!
Riders on all makes and models of motorcycles welcome.
Entry Fee
$25 per motorcycle or $30 with passanger
(Your more than welcome to raise more if you like. The more you raise the sooner a cure will be found.) Make checks payable to DKCR. Receive a FREE t-shirt per entry fee.
Free coffee, doughnuts and light lunch.
After the ride stay for the Celebration of Life program to hear from local children we help.
