Brain tumor facts:
- Every day, nine more children are diagnosed with a brain tumor
- Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer death in children.
- 76% of children diagnosed with a brain tumor are younger than 15.
- Four out of 10 children with a brain tumor will die within five years of diagnosis.
- Symptoms of brain tumors include headaches, nausea, vomiting, seizures, and disturbances in vision and hearing that can't be related to a disorder of the external sensory organs.
Money Collected:
• Gives research grants to the nation’s leading scientific institutions.
• Offers family support services, including a full-time program manager who helps patient families with questions and concerns.
• Awards scholarships to brain tumor survivors studying at a technical school, vocational school, junior college, or a four-year college or university.
• Discovers the cause and cure of childhood brain tumors by supporting medical research
• Aids in early detection of children’s brain tumor
• Improves the quality of life of children through better and less invasive treatments
• Provides educational and emotional support to these children and their families.

The ride through scenic countryside starts at 11:30, rain or shine!
Riders on all makes and models of motorcycles welcome.
Entry Fee
$25 per motorcycle or $30 with passanger
(Your more than welcome to raise more if you like. The more you raise the sooner a cure will be found.) Make checks payable to DKCR. Receive a FREE t-shirt per entry fee.
Free coffee, doughnuts and light lunch.
After the ride stay for the Celebration of Life program to hear from local children we help.
